My background...

I am originally from Brooklyn New York and I now live in Hollywood California. I am a mother of one daughter, I acquired a BFA in fine arts at Pratt Institute in 1994 and fluently bilingual (English & Arabic). I have a background in Motion graphics in the TV/film industry for the past 15 years, but body art has become my profession and passion.

professional training...

I didn't become this good on my own! I have taken training from some of the best face painters  in the world including Mark Reid, Pashur House, Nick & Brian Wolfe, Marcela Murad, Jay Bautista and more. Each of them has influenced my style and brought my body Art to new levels.

How I started…

June 2010 - My daughter was at a birthday party where she had a temporary tattoo done. Shortly after I bought a small kit just for me and my daughter. I then decided to pick up a larger kit and do some extra work on the weekends. Not long after people started asking if I would offer face painting as well. So I decided to take a few face painting workshops. I was always very crafty, crocheting, jewelry making, scrap booking, sketching and painting have always been my hobbies.  Having a steady hand with pretty good technical skills to work a brush, in 2011I decided to shift my focus to face painting. Since then I've added many other activities such as balloon twisting, airbrush tattoos, Henna tattoos, and so much more.

The best part of what I do is how much I enjoy everything about my job.  I have found that I absolutely LOVE painting, but I also love so see a person's expression after they've been painted.  The excitement in people of all ages is inspiring as they allow themselves to become a canvas and walk away with wearable art.
